What it is
A booster pump raises water pressure from the storage tank to the fixtures. It is essential in top-floor apartments, homes with a low water tank and any installation feeding high-flow showers.
What is included
- Pressure measured before and after
- Booster pump and accessories
- Vibration and noise isolation
- Dedicated electrical protection
- Twelve-month installation warranty
How it works
Pressure measurement
We fit a gauge and record the real pressure available at every critical fixture.
Equipment selection
We choose between an inline booster, a pressure-switch set or a variable-speed drive system.
Mechanical install
Check valves, service isolation valves and vibration isolation are fitted as standard.
Fine tuning
We calibrate the pressure switch or drive for comfort without overloading old pipework.
Frequent questions
Are booster pumps noisy?
A properly installed unit on a damped base with flexible connectors runs quietly. Most noise complaints come from pumps bolted rigidly to masonry.
Do they use much electricity?
Consumption is low because the pump only runs on demand. Variable-speed models reduce it further.
Can it boost the street supply directly?
No. Drawing directly from the public mains with a pump is not permitted; boosting is done from the storage tank.
